A fire is detected once there is smoke. By then it has already started
Conventional fire detection waits for smoke, heat at ceiling level or flame. All three are consequences. What precedes them is a temperature rising somewhere it should not — a motor, a battery, a pile of waste.
Between that rise and the first smoke there is a window. It is usually unmonitored, because nothing in a standard system is looking at temperature where the risk begins.
Thermal imaging watches the heat, not the smoke
HeatTracker uses thermal imaging to monitor the temperature of an area you define, and raises an alert when it rises abnormally — before combustion.
You define the area and the threshold
A charging bay, a waste storage area, a motor, an electrical cabinet: the zone and the temperature that should never be exceeded.
The rise is detected
The thermal camera reads the surface temperature continuously. An abnormal rise triggers an alert before smoke exists.

HeatTracker is not ZoneTracker
The two Smart Apps look alike from the outside — a camera, an area, an alert. They answer two different risks, and picking the wrong one leaves the real exposure uncovered.
HeatTracker — before the fire
Detects an abnormal rise in temperature through thermal imaging, before flames appear. The risk is accidental: an overheating machine, a battery, waste storage.

Detects a human presence entering an area you have defined. The risk is malicious: break-in, vandalism, an assault on staff.

How is this different from a smoke detector?
A smoke detector reacts to a consequence. HeatTracker reads surface temperature and can raise an alert while there is still no smoke — it works upstream, alongside your fire detection.
How does it work alongside my fire safety system?
Your regulatory fire detection handles the declared fire. HeatTracker works upstream, on the specific areas where heat builds up before combustion — the two cover different moments.
Is HeatTracker the same as ZoneTracker?
No. HeatTracker detects an abnormal rise in temperature through thermal imaging. ZoneTracker detects a human intrusion into a defined area. They cover two different risks.
What triggers an alert?
A temperature threshold you set on an area you define. The threshold depends on what is being watched — a charging bay and an electrical cabinet do not have the same normal.
Where does the alert go?
To the site, to a remote monitoring centre or to a phone, with the thermal image attached.
How is HeatTracker deployed?
