A standard alarm sounds a siren or sends an SMS, but no one checks whether the incident is real. Remote monitoring adds a certified human operator who analyses every alert by video, distinguishes false alarms from real incidents and triggers the right response (calling the site manager, alerting law enforcement, intervention). It is the key step between detection and intervention.
Why must my provider verify the alarm before calling the police?
It is a legal requirement from article L.613-6 of the French security code and circular INTD1502555C of 26 March 2015. Calling law enforcement without prior alarm verification carries a 450 euro fine. Video alarm verification ensures emergency services are only mobilised on proven danger, preserving their availability for real emergencies.
What happens if my recorder is stolen or destroyed during a burglary?

How does the fog generator work?
On a confirmed intrusion, the generator releases within seconds an opaque fog filling 100% of the room. The intruder, unable to see, is forced to give up. The system only triggers after dual confirmation (alarm + video alarm verification). The fog is non-toxic, leaves no trace and clears in 30 to 45 minutes.
