This hybrid Edge/Cloud unified security platform opens up new possibilities by putting collected data to work, making it possible to deliver latest-generation applications faster. As part of that momentum, the Group is bringing five new intelligent security Smart Apps to market: ANAVEO Mobile, CamGuide, Checkout Tracker 4.0, Video Patrol and CamSmart.

It is in that context, and as part of its ambitious corporate project, that ANAVEO is bringing four Smart Security Apps and one Smart Business App to market — intelligent applications that are an integral part of INNOVEO®, the group’s open innovation platform.

ANAVEO Mobile: a new mobile app with rethought ergonomics and reinforced security

Built entirely by ANAVEO — a pioneer since 2008 in giving customers access to their cameras from a smartphone — ANAVEO Mobile puts the best of unified security within reach at all times. It lets users view and manage all their sites in real time from their smartphone or tablet, anywhere in the world. Succeeding ANAVEO Viewer, the ANAVEO Mobile app brings major changes:

  • fast camera-to-camera navigation with a single swipe
  • simplified sign-in (Face ID or fingerprint)
  • all installations visible directly on screen
  • an improved user experience with more intuitive navigation
  • a redesigned video management system with a richer viewing experience
  • improved alarm handling
  • improved access control

A closer look at the Smart Security Apps

CamGuide: intuitive camera-to-camera navigation, transforming ANAVEO’s flagship Global Secure offer

CamGuide makes it possible to move smoothly and intuitively from camera to camera by simply clicking pre-configured zones on screen, each matching an adjacent camera. It can be used to follow a person or an object, or to run a virtual patrol. CamGuide works in live view as well as in playback, where it can record and save the navigation sequences carried out.

This Smart App brings a threefold advantage: faster reaction (no need to know camera numbers by heart to reach them), better ergonomics that simplify day-to-day use, and greater flexibility, since CamGuide adapts to the layout of any building.

CHECKOUT TRACKER 4.0: an augmented system against checkout errors, whether deliberate or not

Coupled with the point-of-sale software, the Checkout Tracker 4.0 licence secures flows and transactions at the till. The module embeds receipt details directly into the video, making it possible to check that every product has been scanned. With a new multi-criteria search engine, this version makes it easier to find events such as a pending or cancelled receipt, a receipt where one or more products were voided, or to search by product name, by minimum receipt value, by returned item or by payment method. Developed exclusively by ANAVEO, this Smart App is ideal for retail professionals. It improves users’ efficiency by letting them quickly retrieve information that once required reviewing entire sequences.

VIDEO PATROL: remote video patrols to reinforce your teams

Far more than a service, the Video Patrol supports surveillance teams at key moments. The experts at ANAVEO Prevent, the ANAVEO Group’s remote monitoring centre (APSAD P5 certified), watch over premises at times when customers cannot do so on site. By carrying out a randomised visual round remotely, this solution provides optimal surveillance of customer sites.

CAMSMART: protecting cameras by detecting the critical events intelligent cameras can be subjected to

An algorithm developed by ANAVEO’s Innovation Lab and a straightforward set-up: those are the ingredients of this Smart App, which protects premises by detecting acts of damage or sabotage such as a camera being disconnected, fully or partially masked, or having its field of view redirected. Each detection triggers an alert that is fed into the unified security system, allowing specific scenarios to be configured on demand — emails, mobile push notifications and more — in addition to being recorded in the event log.
